Dodgers: Cody Bellinger Named to All-MLB First Team by MLB Experts (Dodgers Nation)


Cody Bellinger had an excellent season and has been showered with awards and accolades because of it. The 24-year-old outfielder took home the National League’s Most Valuable Player Award, a Gold Glove in right field, and a Silver Slugger. He was more than deserving of each and every award he received.

While this is not an *official* award, it does present a nice opportunity to see what the media believes about certain players. According to Jeff Passan, Bellinger took home the honors as an All-MLB outfielder along with amazing names like Mike Trout and Christian Yelich, as voted by highly-regarded members of the media.

Interestingly enough, the Dodgers had no other recipients of this unofficial designation despite Hyun-Jin Ryu finishing as a runner-up for the National…
