Dodgers: Former Pitching Coach Rick Honeycutt To Be Honored (Dodgers Nation)

In case you missed the major news bit, Rick Honeycutt retired as Los Angeles Dodgers pitching coach as soon as the season ended. Furthermore, Mark Prior will make the easy transition to head up the Dodgers’ staff in 2020.

While it’s a huge loss for the Dodgers in terms of a guy who has had a long and prominent run, the news with Honeycutt doesn’t quite end there.

Per a press release from, Honeycutt will be honored in January at a Toast of Champions event in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
