Dodgers veteran third baseman Justin Turner sat down with Petros and Money at AM570 on Wednesday to catch up on what’s been a busy off-season for him and the club. It’s also been a longer than expected off-season after the Dodgers got unexpectedly bounced in the first round of the playoffs.
And that’s exactly what he’s talking about here in this video.
Every off-season you don’t win that last game, it hurts for a long time — it still hurts… and this one was really painful. Going out in the first like that, that wasn’t supposed to happen — having to watch baseball for the first time in two years sucked. … but then you just try to move on.
As Petros notes, the team and fans share in the same disappointment. And the off-season has been one of the more disappointing from Los Angeles in some time, especially after a record regular season.
Turner says he gets and feels the frustration of the fan base.
