Outside of the key prospect names, Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has been the most commonly used name in trade rumors this winter and it makes sense to a certain degree.
While talks with the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox may have cooled, that does not mean that the Corey Seager trade rumors will come to a stop. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Cincinnati Reds have demonstrated a ton of interest in the young shortstop this winter.

While Rosenthal states that there is a certain level of interest being demonstrated, he notes that a deal is nowhere near imminent. Seager still appears a longshot to get dealt with two more years of control remaining, but the chances are increasing.
Seager has dealt with injuries throughout his career, including an elbow injury that required Tommy John surgery and required him to miss most of the 2018 season. He also underwent a hip procedure. Now, though, he will likely enter 2020 at full strength….
