Astros’ A.J. Hinch, Jeff Luhnow suspended for full season for sign stealing (New York Post)

Commissioner Rob Manfred dropped the hammer on the Astros on Monday.

Astros manager A.J. Hinch and general manager Jeff Luhnow were each suspended for a full season for their role in a sign-stealing scandal, MLB announced. The Astros also lost first- and second-round draft picks in 2020 and 2021. The team was fined $5 million.

The Astros were said to be using a video system to let batters know what pitch was coming next.
