Dodgers: Dustin May Discusses Starting Role for 2020 and More (Dodgers Nation)



For the first time, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Dustin May attended Fanfest. Of course as exciting as it is for the Dodger fanbase to hear this kid talk a little more, it must be equally exciting for may.

No longer is he the pitcher with no big league innings under his belt simply trying to earn a roster spot. Now, he will serve as a prominent role whether it be a fixture in the rotation or a lightning multi-inning reliever.

In listening to May talk, a few themes develop. Hearing what he has to say is very interesting, given that he will hold the ball in so many important spots in 2020.

First, May is asked if he’s been given an indication on what his true 2020 role will be between starting or relieving. Right now, he just looks for a spot to show what he can do.
