Dodgers Pedro Baez Wins His Arbitration Case (Dodgers Nation)



It was reported today that longtime Dodger reliever Pedro Baez won his arbitration case against the Dodgers.

Pedro’s agent Kelvin Nova handled his arbitration case, submitting a 4 million dollar rate. The Dodgers had offered a rate or 3.5 million. Winning the arbitration case secured his 4 million dollar contract for 2020. Pedro Baez is the first player to win his arbitration case in 2020. This is good news for Pedro and for fans who were hoping the big man would get paid, especially considering Joc Pederson lost his arbitration case just days earlier. Eight more players in MLB still have pending arbitration cases as of this writing.
