Bowden: Scouting a must-watch player from every team in spring training (The Athletic)

Spring training is underway in all 30 camps in Arizona and Florida. It’s an exciting time of year as every team and player gets to start anew. One of the fun things for me each spring is targeting players to scout who could become new difference makers, players primed for breakout seasons, prospects I haven’t seen enough of, players who just got traded to new teams, players who fell short their rookie year but are primed to rebound their sophomore season or players coming back from serious injuries. Here is my list of 30 players, one from each team, who I’m most excited to watch this spring training.

National League East

Atlanta Braves – Austin Riley, 3B
