Fresh off a 15-6 win over the Rockies in Colorado on Friday, there was a fear that the Dodgers might have no runs left for Clayton Kershaw on Saturday. While Kersh made sure that only a few would do, the offense — namely Chris Taylor — made sure he’d secure that win.
LA got the scoring started in the first with a 2 run triple.

He drove in Mookie Betts and Justin Turner. With Mookie, he would have a shining moment later in this game. For Turner, he reached base with a single that continued a nice streak for him.
Justin Turner’s single gives him 25 straight games of reaching base safely. He has one better streak in his career: 28 games (June 1, 2011 to July 6, 2011).

The Rockies countered with a run in the bottom of the first, which would conclude their scoring for the evening.
As has been the case for most of the season, Clayton was locked in once again.
