The Dodgers have been without the services of ace Walker Buehler for a fair chunk of the season. Between being slow played in and out of summer camp to blister issues, 2020 hasn’t been ideal for the Kentucky native. But thankfully, he still has time to recover his almost lost season soon.
On Saturday, ahead of Clayton Kershaw’s gem in Colorado, Dave Roberts let us know what comes next for the flamethrowing right-hander.
I think the plan is for him to pitch on Thursday against the A’s.
Roberts continued, saying that Buehler had tossed a simulated game on Saturday where he “got up to 90 pitches” with no issues. As he battled the blister, Doc said that he threw with the affected finger covered for part of the outing.
