Phew. The Mets hung on Sunday by a thread to take two of three from the Phillies in what turned out to be a wild weekend. The Phillies probably should burn any game tape from Sunday, as they looked downright atrocious. The Mets took advantage of some lazy defense and some help by a ball coming two inches from tying the game. They found a way to win despite ineptitude from manager Luis Rojas, who has hurt them multiple times early this season.
